turkeys, turkeys, everywhere

In honor of Thanksgiving, the children created many 'hand print' turkeys, first painting their own hands and then doing 'partner painting'.

This 'partner painting' activity required many skills...verbal communication and color recognition "what color would you like first?"
....self control to perform 'careful work'
....turn taking so each child had the opportunity to have their own hand painted and the opportunity to paint their partner's hand
This was a popular activity and allowed the children to work cooperatively in a creative way.
