footprints in faux snow

We've been discussing the changing weather, and the children were very intrigued with snow, ice, hail and rain. We had ice flows in our sensory tray and examined photos of real snow people. The activity I paired with this theme was to create a unique snow person.
The children are pros at finger painting, so I added a twist to this much loved activity...they painted with their feet!
After sliding their feet through white paint, I added shaving cream to their trays...., much to their delight.
The children made a footprint on paper, then added a top hat, carrot nose, and other features.
We couldn't help but get our fingers involved!
