Let the Music Play

We have been ecstatic to have the music program incorporated into our Toddler curriculum this year. Music promotes listening skills, discussion and learning new vocabulary, all of which are literacy goals for preschoolers. In our last session with Ms. Melissa, we learned all about the violin and its parts...strings, chinrest, fingerboard and bow. Then each child had the special opportunity to play the violin with the help of Ms. Melissa. As each child played, the audience (the other five children) watched in awe as they made their own rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star come to life. Thank you to all involved in the Spring Raffle Fundraiser for this priceless gift!
