Spinners...Not Just for Salads Anymore

We continued to grow our garden with a little help from our salad spinner. The children put a circular piece of paper on the bottom of our spinner, gave it a few squirts of paint and pumped away on the spinner. The children delighted in opening up the spinner to reveal their vibrant creations.

In Ms. Melissa's last music session with us, she introduced the cello. The children were surprised by how big the instrument was and they made the observation that it was taller than they are. First, as the toddlers watched with wide eyes, she played us Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Then she had each child put their hand on the cello as she played so they could feel the vibrations. Lastly, with her help, she gave each child the opportunity to play the cello. We send a big thank you to Ms. Melissa for teaching us all about music and exposing us to many different instruments throughout the year.
