We hit the ground running in the Toddler class!
As many of our returning Toddlers are getting back into the swing of things, our newest children are learning all about the routines of our day. We have been talking a lot about how we sometimes miss Mommy and Daddy, but that they always come back. The wonderful book, Llama Llama Misses Mama, has been read several times in class and is a great way for us to discuss this topic.
We also learned about the letter "A" and that it starts the word Apple. We had a blast getting messy while finger-painting our apple shapes with red paint.
In circle time, I read a story called Here Are My Hands, which lead perfectly into a discussion on how all of the children look different in the story and about celebrating our uniqueness. We then created our own hand prints and practiced the letter "M" sound and that it starts the word Me.
We are so excited to be in class!
