Look at what we made!

Take a peak at what PreK made this week.  They came up with the route for an outdoor obstacle course. They jumped off rocks, stepped across "stepping stones," climbed up, slid down, walked the balance beam, then raced back to the start.  An obstacle course teaches children about strength and balance, motor planning, bilateral coordination, and sequencing and memory.

Children love showing off their creations and feeling pride in their creativity.  I try to catch these special moments in photos and here are a few for you.

"It's a subway."

"It's an excavator."

"It's a music instrument that you shake."
