Our class loves to dive into sensory material.  This week I offered a bin of corn starch and water, a concoction that we call ooblick.  The children, the table and the floor were covered with this wonderful material!
While exploring different 'jobs' we might do when grown up, I offered tools that a doctor or veterinarian might use.  The children enjoyed trying out stethoscopes, syringes and bandages on their friends, our stuffed animals and the teachers. Our class was pronounced 'all better now' over and over!
Spencer Kibbe, a GHCC alum, completed his Eagle Scout Project last month.  He and his team constructed new heater grate covers for our classrooms.  They look wonderful.  I am grateful for this improvement.
