Bubbles, Bubbles, Everywhere....

The class and I are having so much fun this week with bubbles.  By blowing, twirling, or running with a bubble wand the students have made small and large bubbles.  It's so exciting to see they can create.

The creative activity for this week was making bubble prints.  Each student had a bowl mixture of bubble solution and paint.  After blowing bubbles with their straw they laid a sheet of paper on top and captured the bubble prints.

We are also reading a fantastic book called "Bubble Homes and Fish Farts" by Fiona Bayrock.  It describes how a variety of creatures use bubbles in daily life.  I hope your child is sharing their fun, new facts with you!
