Last week the students had so much fun with this art project, I just had to share the photos with you all.  They have been really curious about blowing air and blowing through tubes in the sandbox so I knew I needed to encourage this in a positive environment.  Everyone had their own straw and watered down tempera paint then they could blow as hard as they wanted for as long as they wanted to mix colors and create something artistic.  We used red and orange paint because they are fall colors and because they looked like "fire" when they mixed.  (October is Fire Safety Month.)

PreK is LOVING the Marbleworks set.

We are practicing patterns.

And last of all, the ants have been extending their tunnels.  Busy, busy, busy!
