Toddler Fun!

Team work and patience were all being practiced this week. Outside I heard a lot of friends engage in cooperative play with one another.

Inside we worked on balancing, jumping, and hand eye coordination. The toddlers really enjoyed this activity because we moved a typical outside activity inside, which gave them a different experience.

Here we are decorating our coffee filter turkeys. We also sang our new turkey song in celebration of Thanksgiving. We talked about what it is like to have a family and feel loved.

Monkey trouble!
This activity seems to be very popular in the toddler room! This fine motor activity encouraged counting, singing, language and new vocabulary words such as "link, row, longer, shorter. "

Cranberry sensory!
We used our pincer fingers and tongs to separate and scoop cranberries
