Pool Noodle Fun

Over the last few weeks we have been focusing on gardening, shapes, numbers, letters, comparison in sizes (small, medium, large) and practicing a number of fine motor skill activities.

Here the toddlers are experimenting with pool noodles. They created a game that involved jumping over and crawling under a jump rope with noodles attached. This game encouraged team work, patience and taking turns. We also found other uses for the pool noodle as well!...

Spring flowers!
We practiced the mantra "pinch, release..." We used medicine droppers to create coffee filter flowers. This was the beginning of our garden exploration.

The toddlers have been interested in letter recognition lately. We are making lots of connections and recognizing letters in books, posters and name cards!
