We've Been Busy!

Our sensory tray outside was filled with birdseed. Mrs. Ronda provided measuring cups, clear tubes and trays for exploration. The children enjoyed the zen like experience of dragging their fingers through the seeds, scooping up the material and watching it 'sprinkle' down like rain.
The big slide was popular last week.  The children learned to get in line 'behind someone's back' instead of pushing their way to the front of the line.
Courtyard play included the big dinosaurs and lots of jumping and flying off the wall.
We did an art activity inspired by Harold and the Purple crayon. The children spread out on the carpet and created wonderful drawings.
Inside the classroom, we played with kinetic sand, wooden peg dolls, worked at the writing table and decorated 'Tree', inspired by Eric Carle's Dream Snow story.
