Rain, Rain, Go Away...

This week we really embraced the rain. We enjoyed singing in the rain, puddle stomping, racing and rocking and rolling on our teeter totters.
Here are some friends finding a nice dry spot in their castle made from waffle blocks.
Outside we also had fun using the pegs and hammers. We enjoyed pressing the pegs in with our fingers then watching the pegs disappear into the foam as we tapped, tapped, tapped with our hammers.
Inside we read the story Red fish Blue fish by Dr Seuss and created our very own game with fish, sifters and scoops.
The toddlers loved building this abc train puzzle. We used our abc letter poster as a guide and then found all the matching puzzle pieces.
