Rhyme Time

This week we continued our lesson about rhyming words and the letter i. We played rhyming games that involved solving puzzles and we also created our own silly rhyming words.
Outside we loved washing cars and pretend food. We also really enjoyed building with the doll house. Many of the toddlers pretended to make lemonade and coffee and sell it to their friends.
Here are some friends inside the classroom exploring and building.
Inside we focused on the letter i. We used Popsicle sticks to talk about forming letters, numbers. Here are some friends creating their own ice cream cone with our blue and pink felt pieces. This activity encouraged counting, patterns and lots of creativity.
This week we also were introduced to dice. We rolled them, counted dots and matched them to numerical numbers.
