Chugga Chugga Choo-Choo!

Trains took over the PreK room last week.  There was much discussion about who would drive which train cars and where the tracks should lead.  It was a wonderful cooperative activity.
We finished learning the letters of the alphabet with Zoophonic K for Kaya kangaroo.  Students practiced fine motor skills while lacing their own pouch to wear.  With the scraps of paper from cutting the pouches a few students got resourceful.  They created beards and mustaches and even a mermaid tail.
Here's a peak at some of our other inside activities.  We will observing ladybug larvae for the next weeks and the students are thrilled to have some creepy-crawly creatures around.
Mrs. Ronda set up some great areas outside to explore.  PreK especially enjoyed building with waffle blocks and playing with dinosaurs.
