Cupid Draw Back Your Bow!

Last month you might have heard your student humming or singing the oldie, "Cupid" by Sam Cooke. Everyone loved when Mrs. Danielle sang it during our music time and taught us some hand gestures and motions to go along with the lyrics. Singing about Cupid and love are two things that make February so special. Obviously hearts are right up there too! PreK practiced cutting hearts, using them in pin work, and we even made a sorting and graphing activity with them!
Now let's see what PreK was up to in the sandbox area. There was digging, pouring, running, jumping, climbing, sliding, and did I mention jumping? Our free time to play outside is one of the most important parts of the day. When I think back to the abilities and interests of the kids in September, compared to where they are now, I see a vast amount of growth in balance, risk-taking, cooperation, and problem solving. I'm so proud of our students and I love to see them having fun.
See you again next month!
