So much science!
Lately we've been soaking up science exploration in PreK. We started with an experiment to test objects that are magnetic and those that are not. We recorded our findings just like grown up scientists do.
Next, we examined a variety of rocks and crystals noticing similar characteristics and differences.
Thanks to our rainy days, a study of weather was the perfect reason to simulate clouds in the classroom.
St. Patrick's Day made us think of rainbows (with a pot of gold perhaps?) so we created our own rainbow sculptures. It's wonderful allowing the students to use their own process and creativity in this activity. No two rainbows are exactly alike!
Check out the mazes that PreK followed!
Come back again next month and you'll see all the fun and learning happening in PreK. :)
